Both the Xena Warrior Princess and Evil Dead franchises have played with time travel. The Xenaverse has several episodes which take place in the present day. Ash time travels back to 1300 A.D to battle the Army of Darkness in the third part of the Evil Dead, trilogy - Army of Darkness.
