No. 4: The Comic Connection

The Evil Dead film franchise and Xena Warrior Princess started as separate entities. The first Evil Dead (1981) film came out over ten years before Lucy Lawless made her first public appearance as the Warrior Princess in 1995.  So, it may seem like an odd set of programmes to crossover, but in 2008 they did just that. The comic book Army of Darkness had a couple of mini-crossover series with the comic book version of Xena Warrior Princess.
