Gears of War is a third person shooter by Epic Games. In 2008, Epic Games and DC Comics announced that a Gears Of War comic would be made. To date the comic has 24 issues. The last comic was published in August 2012.
Written by Joshua Ortega, the comics are said to not be very accessible for people who haven’t played the game yet. While that might sound intimidating to someone who is not familiar with Gears of War, playing the game first would only add to the fun.
