Rime (PS4, Xbox One, Windows)

Some of the best video game experiences of the last few years have come from indie studios and Rime is certainly one to look out for. It has had a curious development cycle - originally greenlit by Microsoft, before being funded by Sony and eventually by Tequila Works - but we will finally see a finished project on all systems in May. The game features a young boy stranded on a mysterious island, who must solve various puzzles in order to uncover the island’s secrets.
With a similar approach to the minimalist storytelling and beautiful aesthetic of Journey, here’s hoping Rime can live up to its predecessor and take us on a similar emotional journey.
