Battalion 1944 (PS4, Xbox One, Windows)

Remember when every shooter was set in the second world war? Battalion 1944 will take us back to that 1940s setting in an online and multiplayer only experience. Kickstarted and developed by the British-based Bulkhead Studios it promises maximum realism in gameplay and settings. Maps have even been developed to resemble real WW2 locations. The creators have promised that there will be no competitive advantage from unlockables and that skill is the only thing that determines success and failure.
If you’re an FPS player who fondly remembers the golden age of WW2 shooters - or if Battlefield One has stoked an interest in going back to the 20th Century - then this could be the game for you.
