No. 10: Star Trek: Discovery

Ignore the current film series, the brand spanking new TV show is where Star Trek is at.  The CBS show is in the firm hands of Bryan Fuller and due to air early next year. This weekend saw the reveal of the full series name and the first look at the USS Discovery itself.

Is it me or does the Discovery have an air of the classic series Klingon bird of prey about it?

Set in the same universe as the other TV shows it’s anyone’s guess who is going to be at the helm and what races will crew the star ship. So much guess work but the small bit of footage is still spine tingling for fans of the 50-year-old franchise.
