I'm a secret agent by day, but by night I'm a great pontificator of all things nerd on television. I write for doublewintwins.com and might be lurking in your Twitch stream. Sometimes I play Hearthstone while I wait for my lattes. Enjoy!

No. 5: Viper (Madame Hydra)

Long-standing member and once leader of the New York chapter of Hydra, Madame Hydra has a history of vile behavior that could certainly land her on the list of Marvel’s Most Wanted. Although Hydra has Grant Ward at the helm, it’s not far-fetched to think that others would have had the same idea of trying to rebuild the organization after the destruction of its leadership. Either as Viper or Madame Hydra, this character would not only provide an interesting feature to the current Hydra leadership structure, but could also give Grant Ward a new lady-friend dynamic to replace his fallen Agent 33, at least in appearance. If Marvel’s Most Wanted establishes itself as existing in the same world that our heroes hail from, then neutralizing Hydra and it’s fiercest operatives will be among the top priorities of our heroes. Viper, like Toxie Doxie, has an array of poisons and toxins in her arsenal, and superb fighting skills to boot. It’s safe to say that if Viper doesn’t make the list of Marvel’s Most Wanted, then it’s only a matter of time before she shows up on S.H.I.E.L.D.’s radar.

Look for Marvel's Most Wanted in 2016, and keep up with Mockingbird and Lance Hunter in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. on Tuesdays at 9/8c on ABC.
