Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017)

Becoming fan favorites, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon and (Baby) Groot make a much anticipated return in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. The first Guardians film was arguably the best surprise that the MCU has delivered, and to little surprise, Marvel tried to capitalize on this as quickly as possible. Three years after the original film, the Guardians sequel continued with some of their trademark moments and style, such as Baby Groot dancing in the post-credit scenes of Guardians 1 and then again in the very first scene of Guardians 2.

Many agree that this film was good, but the first one was still better, although, it is quite a challenge to attempt to create a better film than Guardians 1, even though the second film did earn more money at the box office. One of the biggest points of either massive excitement or total confusion from fans came in one of the five(!) post-credit scenes. In one scene, a disheveled Ayesha is sitting and staring at a massive gold cocoon. She then says, “I think I shall call him… Adam”, which immediately blew the minds of any fans that knew she was referring to the immensely powerful, Adam Warlock, who will most likely play a major role in the battle against Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War (2018).
