Daredevil: Netflix Announces Season Three

Daredevil is back on Netflix for season three! Fans at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) rejoiced as news of the renewal quickly spread around the convention centre and beyond. The hero of Hell's Kitchen (Charlie Cox) will be back kicking bad guy butt for another year.

The announcement comes amidst a flurry of activity from Netflix, who have invested heavily in their connections to the Marvel Universe.

Whether Daredevil, as a stand alone project, will survive the enormous Netflix commitment to other Marvel Comics heroes, or whether the character will be reduced to a future guest starring role, after season three, is something that only Netflix and Marvel executives are privy to at the moment.  Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders are all projects currently operating under the Marvel/Netflix partnership.

When will Daredevil's third season drop on Netflix? That too is a secret at the moment.
