The Evolution Of Wonder Woman

July 31st, 2016 | by ComiConverse

The latest Wonder Woman content was some of the most highly discussed material to emerge from San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) 2016. On the heels of that epic trailer, we thought it would be cool to take a look back at how Wonder Woman’s character has evolved over the course of the last 75 years.

The most recognizable female hero in comics debuted in 1941, when Steve Trevor crashed on the hidden Amazon island of Themyscira. Eventually, Diana (a Princess of the Amazons) won the right to return Trevor to “Man’s World” and help battle the Nazis during World War Two. She soon joined the Justice Society as the team’s Secretary.

My how times have changed.

She has been an ambassador, a warrior, a spy and an icon of female empowerment.

Here is partnership with our friends at, we present the latest addition to our ComiConverse infographics section: The Evolution of Wonder Woman.
