Director Patty Jenkins made news this week with her open endorsement of Suicide Squad. We're here to break it all down for you on ComiConverse.
Wonder Woman's Patty Jenkins Loved Suicide Squad:
Wonder Woman Director Patty Jenkins has seen and loved Suicide Squad and she isn't afraid to say so.  Jenkins, who was brought on board to direct Wonder Woman in 2015, after Michelle Maclaren left the project due to creative differences, took to Twitter to express her bewilderment as to why fans and critics alike have been so disappointed with the film.
Uh⦠You guys. Super confused. Just went to the premiere of #SuicideSquad. Hadn't seen it. It's great! Not sort of great. GREAT! I mean...

...I loved it. So surprised by some reviews. I don't get it. I thought it was awesome. And NOT just because I'm in the DC world. Truly.

Both Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman are films on a scale much larger than Jenkins has been involved with in the past, with her past two directorial projects being Five (2011) and Monster (2003).
While Patty Jenkins was openly supportive of David Ayer and Suicide Squad, the Director was quick to add that her own Wonder Woman project would be taking a different tack.
For those asking: Of course WW is completely different with own unique story and approach. Inherently it is. I just appreciate others work.
