No. 6: X-Men: Destiny (PS3, Xbox 360, Silicon Knights, 2011)
X-Men Destiny, the only X-Men game where you don't play as the X-Men. Whoever greenlit this is, firstly, a moron, and secondly, a moron. Thrust into the shoes of one of three young and supposedly upcoming mutants, the game lets you join either the X-Men or Magneto's Brotherhood of Mutants. If only your choices had some actual impact. Combat is repetitive, and the upgrades for your characters do little to improve gameplay. The story isn't anything special either. Considering this came out in 2011, it looks like a game from 2005. This was the last game Silicon Knights ever made, as they had a lawsuit rebuffed and were successfully counter-sued by Epic Games. What a crappy way to go out.
Do you have a particular superhero game that you were massively disappointed with?
