No. 8: Fantastic Four (PS1, Acclaim, 1997)

Every representation of the Fantastic Four in any medium other than comic books is terrible. Unfortunately, video games are no exception. This awful side-scrolling beat-em-up lets you swap to any member of the team at any time from the pause menu, but other than that is has nothing going for it. The Four's powers, which come across as awesome in the comics, do not shine through here. The controls are too repetitive and the graphics are some of the worst you will see on the PS1. And the animations...just see for yourself. Either Acclaim are just really, really bad video game devs, or Doctor Doom is their CEO - the only two explanations for this dire attempt at entertainment.
