#4: The Hulk & Betty Ross
She was there at the Hulk's birth and stood by both the man and the monster until she nearly died. Bruce and Hulk have had a few loves throughout their long dual existence. Some have better fit the Hulk, like Caiera, and some have better fit Dr. Banner, like Kate Waynesboro. Rarely have Bruce and Hulk encountered anyone who loved them both. There was the brief and powerful love of Jarella, a green-skinned woman who loved both before she was killed. Always there was Betty Ross. Lover, nurturer, and anchor to both the man and the monster. Even when the Gray Hulk firmly stated he was not in love with her, moments later his love came forward after hearing Betty was pregnant. Never was there was better example of loving all aspects of someone, both the dark and the light.
