Probably the only decent thing about X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) was the five minute cameo of Ryan Reynolds playing Wade Wilson in the beginning of the movie. He was then turned into a super freaky mutant which all the powers of the X-Men. Thankfully Bryan Singer erased the timeline completely when he made X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014).

A reboot of the Deadpool character has been in the works for a while now, with different directors coming and going, but finally we have something to look forward to. A movie centered on this mercenary who just wise cracks all the time.

Let’s be honest, we all go to the movies to see the villains and the antiheroes as they are the characters worth watching. Just imagine Ryan Reynolds in Blade Trinity (2004). He was an effective ass-kicking character who liked to joke around and mock the enemy, which is exactly what Deadpool needs to be.

Ryan Reynolds is very much with the fans on getting it right. He teases costumes and characters on Twitter and with visual effect guru Tim Miller directing, there are no doubts it will have something for everybody. The fact that Deadpool’s costume seems to be on point is enough to get everyone excited.
