I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!

No. 3:  Enter The Red Hood

rh1

In comics, Jason's return is a result of Superboy Prime punching against a barrier separating him from the rest of reality.  This causes ripples in time/space and revives Jason.  He is later taken in by Talia al Ghul and submerged in the Lazurus Pit to be somewhat restored.  The Under The Red Hood animated film simplifies Jason's resurrection a bit more; explaining that Ra's al Ghul felt somewhat responsible for the boy's death because he had been the one to orchestrate  the Joker's involvement and Jason's subsequent death.  Ra's had Jason revived not long after his death, but the effects of the Lazurus pit drove him mad.

As the Red Hood, in either version of his revival, Jason is upset that Batman didn't take proper vengeance against the Joker and looks to exact his own revenge on his killer and on his former mentor.
