I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!

No. 1: Who Is Jason Todd?

As Robin, Jason Todd had two origin stories. Pre-crisis his origin is virtually the same as Dick Grayson's, which when you think of it is kind of lazy writing.  The post-crisis, and more generally accepted version, is one where Batman finds him taking the wheels off the Batmoblie in a back alley after returning to his car from a night on patrol.

Having been without a Robin for some time since Dick Grayson had moved on to the role of Nightwing, Batman took Jason in and he eventually became the second Robin.  This Robin, however, was not the same as his predecessor.  He was angrier, meaner and generally more violent in his dealings with the criminals of Gotham City.
