After another incident involving the Avengers results in collateral damage, political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability, headed by a governing body to oversee and direct the team. The new status quo fractures the Avengers, resulting in two camps, one led by Steve Rogers and his desire for the Avengers to remain free to defend humanity without government interference, and the other following Tony Stark's surprising decision to support government oversight and accountability. - IMBD

Actor Michael Colter has revealed that Marvel's next Defenders series, Luke Cage, will drop on Netflix on Sept. 30. In a interview he confirmed the release date of his solo Netflix series. Jordan and Dale discuss their respective opinions on the upcoming show.

"Its going to be action packed from the beginning to the very end. Trust me,” Colter said. “Daredevil premieres March 18, and I will see the fans on September 30.”

Luke Cage stars Colter, Mahershala Ali, Alfre Woodard, Simone Missick, Theo Rossi, Frank Whaley, and Sonia Braga. The series is was developed by show runner Cheo Hodari Coker.

Ghostbusters

Closing the podcast we chat about the new Ghostbusters trailer. Earlier last week the first official trailer for the female lead Ghostbusters reboot hit the web. It was bombarded with so much hate that it currently sits with a disproportionately large number of thumbs downs on YouTube.

This trailer reflects a movie that is more intense, and balances the horror, mystery, and comedy elements of the original Ghostbusters a little differently.
