No. 2: Guardians of The Galaxy

I debated whether or not this film deserved the #1 spot or not. This movie has everything you could ask for. Clearly a huge leap of faith for the MCU; with Marvel showing a lot of confidence in director James Gunn. But with the star studded cast, including funny-man Chris Pratt who shined in the movie, and lovable characters like Rocket Racoon, Marvel surprised us all (probably even themselves) by showing that they can make audiences fall in love in an alien that says only three words and who looks like a tree.

Adding to it all was the soundtrack. If the soundtrack hadn't of been as remarkable as it was, I don't think the film would have been nearly as good as it was. I still find myself laughing more at the genius of the music than at the actual movie. It just provided such a different feel and gave the story so much character.

This movie also expanded the MCU into space, even more than Thor did, so now the MCU literally how no boundaries on where they can take Phase 3.

Which segways nicely into our final entry.
