Counting Down 10 Comics Bromances

No. 9: Batman & Commissioner Jim Gordon

Of course this is no usual bromance. but whether its mutual goals, grudging respect or an actual bromance, Batman and Commissioner Gordon have been through hell and back together. The Bat has had it tough in Gotham, fighting the likes of the Joker and Poison Ivy, but when the dust settles and the press comes rushing up the stairs, Gordon is there to keep them at bay and give credit to the Bat, even when he doesn't ask for it.

Though the two don't always see eye to eye. For example, Batman has his daughter Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) fighting crime every night of the week, putting her life on the line. Gordon is never actually told, but he's a detective - like Bats of course - he has his theories). These two trust each other with their lives and also to do the right thing to make their city a better place. Just don't ever tell the two that they have a bromance.
