I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!

The New 52 is officially over as a section of DC comics history. DC has done away with that branding after four years and are now moving on to DC YOU.  Over those four years we had many artists interpret the Dark Knight in the pages of Batman, Detective Comics, The Dark Knight, Batman and Robin, Justice League and a few other titles.

Be honest, we pick up comics for the art inside. If the art is no good the books are less fun to read. By contrast, if the art is amazing it can make up for a few shortcomings in a story.

Let’s have a look at some of the artists that kept us reading the Caped Crusader for the last four years.

Buckle up!
