It’s cool to be small, as Marvel Studios releases the first trailer for Ant-Man and the Wasp after months of speculation on the sequel.

This is the first official look at Marvel’s Ant-Man sequel, which got announced way back in October 2015. Marvel has slowly teased aspects of the film, with banners at Disney's D2 conference showcasing the Wasp's costume redesign. All eyes are on for Peyton Reed's unconventional sequel, to deliver more of the fantastic effects seen in the original.

Ant-Man and the Wasp act as the first, significant introduction for Lilly Evangeline’s Hope van Dyne as a qualified superhero. Evangeline’s van Dyne will take up the heroic role played by her mother so long ago, donning the Wasp’s costume and standing side-by-side with Ant-Man. Academy Award-nominated actress Michelle Pfeiffer will star in the movie as Janet van Dyne, Hope’s mother and the first Wasp. We briefly got a glimpse of Janet van Dyne through a flashback in the first film.
