In the closing shot we get a full look at Jyn Erso, decked out in Rebel gear which really reminds me of something from The Hunger Games franchise. I love this shot mainly due to the lighting and costume set up which looks unlike anything we saw in The Force Awakens.
Those are just a few things from the first Rogue One: A Star Wars Story trailer, to be excited about. Hopefully more footage will be here soon because the film looks fantastic. Rogue One is directed by Briton Gareth Edwards, whose previous movies include Godzilla and Monsters. The cast includes Mads Mikkelsen, Forest Whitaker, Felicity Jones, and Riz Ahmed.
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story hits theaters December 15th.
