I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!

No. 1: The Third Robin

Tim Drake was the third person to hold the Robin mantle and was actually the first robin that I read in print. His back story involves a father that was tangled up in Gotham's underworld and Tim wanted to enlist Batman's help in getting his father out of trouble. Where as Dick was taken in by Bruce due to the two sharing similar tragedies, Jason was taken in because Bruce thought he could straighten him out. Tim was different. He used some remarkable detective skills and deduced Batman's true identity. That was how Tim earned his way into the bat family.

This third Robin trekked around the world, training with Ducard and facing off against Lady Shiva all while being the first robin to actually wear long pants. An evolution in fighting styles as well as fashion.
