No. 5: Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage
Originally released in September of 1994, this title is also our earliest Spider-Man game to make the top 5. I have always found that a great Spider-Man game gives Venom some stick time as well - giving players a chance to relieve some stress after all those hours of citizen saving. Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage was similar to the Spider-Man arcade game in its set up and style, and while some may argue the arcade version executed the formula better, it's hard to argue with a decent home console version. You'll have to dust off your Sega Genesis to partner up with Venom and take on Spidey's most classic villains in this title, but we promise it will be worth it.
