Doctor Strange tracks down Rabum Alal to the Library of worlds and discovers that he is in fact Doctor Doom. Doctor Doom goes on to explain that the Beyonders created the Molecule Man to be the one thing across all of the Muiverse that remained constant. Where there are an infinite number of different Doctor Doom's across an Infinite number of universes the Molecule man always remains the same. The Beyonders had a plan was to kill all Molecule Men simultaneously to destroy all Universes in one go but Doctor Doom had gone back in time to start killing the Molecule Men and started the incursions early. With the tasks taking a number of years Doctor Doom forms a religion around him and develops a following called Black Swans who he uses to go across the Multiverse to kill the molecule man faster. When Doctor Doom realises he has run out of time he accompanies Dr. Strange and the Molecule Man and travel across the Multiverse to face the Beyonders together.
