Comic Book Movies: Top 5 Comic Book Movie Directors

No. 1: Russo Brothers

Directors of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, and soon to be released, Avengers: Infinity War films, the co-directors and brothers Joe and Anthony Russo have delivered two films of exceptional quality. Though it may seem like a cop out to give the top spot to two directors not one, the brothers do most of their work together. The reason they are number one is because they have earned 100% faith in their skills and decision making. After seeing Avengers: Age of Ultron, and knowing that Joss Whedon might direct the next two Avenger films, I was apprehensive. After learning that it will be the Russo Brothers, I couldn't have been happier. I love both of the films they have made for the MCU. In those movies, they have shown that they can take a big cast of characters and make a sensible balanced film, while simultaneously introducing new characters in a meaningful way, like Spider-man and Black Panther. This alone shows their skill as directors. Their demonstrated skill and consistency makes the Russo Brothers number one when it comes to comic book movie directors.
