No. 6: It’s Just So Weird

One of the things I love to watch is the bizarre when it is portrayed as ordinary. Silas University has no shortage of strange events (mushrooms exploding everywhere, a deep pit opening and an anglerfish god trying to rise, just to name two) and one of the things I love most about it is that they are mentioned in passing as if they are to be expected. Silas is not quite in our world, but not quite in another either. It is somewhere in between, and our guides through it make the ride extremely entertaining.
