I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!

No. 2: Robin's Reckoning

This two-part episode is one I could just watch over and over again. It reveals to us the tragic story of Dick Grayson, as he's presented with the opportunity to bring his parents' killer to justice. The writing and directing on this episode were spectacular.

One great bit of trivia is that, originally, the writers wanted to show Dick's parents falling, but the censors wouldn't let them and so they came up with the method they used which is much more theatrical!

Most fans, including fans of the new Gotham live-action show, know the story of how Dick lost his parents. However, the idea of seeing Robin lit up by the same vengeful fire that drives Batman was a different and highly interesting angle to take.

It was a fascinating and highly memorable episode.
