5 Reasons Batman Fans Shouldn’t Panic
I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!
No 5. One Word - Passion:
Both of these men have been on the Fatman on Batman podcast with Kevin Smith, spinning stories about the process they take in creating the stories for this character that we all love. The paths they took to get into the comic industry and a very close look at how they created the Zero Year can be heard here.
All that said, it seemed like the vocal part off the Internet saw one picture and started shouting that the sky was falling. That Batman had turned into a bunny in a robot suit. That Snyder and Capullo had ruined their favorite character. Remember, Batman is their favorite character too, they've worked with him and lived in his world together for the last four years, they want to tell new, interesting and exciting stories.
Batman is in good hands!
