No. 5: Small Hero - Big Money

The fifth and final item of mention  is that Tales to Astonish issue 35 from 1962, which features the first appearance of Ant-Man, is worth up to $200,000.

Of course, this is assuming it is in mint condition, something very difficult to find with old comics. Despite this, a copy of this issue that is in decent condition can still sell for up to $100,000. This is no-where near the most expensive comic in existence, as there are far more expensive "first appearance" issues out there. You are not guaranteed $200,000 if you manage to find one, but considering how unknown Ant-man is to a general audience these days, it is surprising that his first appearance is even worth up to this sum of money.
