X-Men Apocalypse Director Bryan Singer has sent out a new image of the upcoming teaser for his film, which apparently was screened in a rather impressive home theatre.

The image shows Profession Charles Xavier utilizing Cerebro, presumably in an attempt to track a fellow mutant – possibly Apocalypse himself.

Could that be the reason for the rather pained expression we see on the Professor’s face?

MORE NEWS FROM THE WEB

The latest X-Men story will open 10 years following X-Men: Days of Future Past and will see the awakening of the X-Men’s most powerful and dangerous enemy, in the form of their fellow mutant – Apocalypse.

It remains to be seen weather the depiction of Apocalypse on screen will be the debacle that some fans claimed it would when the first film images were released, however, the Professor looks as though he has matured significantly from the rudderless man we met in the beginning of the last X-Men outing.

Only time will tell if this latest instalment will build on an already massively successful series, or whether the lack of Marvel’s guiding hand will see the franchise go the way of Fantastic Four.

Either way, releases like certainly do the job of getting us all buzzing.

Finishing up the first teaser. #xmen #xmenapocalypse
