This week, Marvel dropped the teaser trailer for Jessica Jones in full HD glory, also confirming the release date of November 20^th. During this section of the podcast we showcase our opinions on the teaser and the rumours circulating around it.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Zack Snyder himself confirmed that Batman will have a huge presence in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice here is what he said:

Only in that because it’s a different Batman than the Batman that was in the Chris Nolan movies, so we have a little bit more explaining to do—and you just had a whole Superman movie. But I think only in that way, because you need to understand where Batman is with everything. And that’s more toward the beginning, but it evens back out as it goes on.

He also said this

They’re actually opposite sides of the same coin It’s interesting because Batman’s a man and Superman’s a god, if you think about it in those terms. So their relationship is very contentious. What Superman sees as Batman’s limits, Batman sees as Superman trying to control him, acting like an absolute dictator.

What we went after was the humanity of each character. We tried to say, ‘What would Batman have to do to unravel Superman, and what would Superman have to do to unravel Batman?’ Their conflict is based on each other’s’ understanding of the other’s weakness. The fun of that is when you’re dealing with these mythological creatures—to make them human again, bring them back to earth. And to do that you have to know the rules before you can break them. They have to go all the way to the stratosphere before you can bring them back down.

The Force Awakens has not even been released but Disney are setting up shop for the sequel Episode 8 in Ireland this month – originally coming from EW, it was confirmed by Disney that this was the case.

According to Heroic Hollywood the new Wonder Woman film will be set in two different time periods including World War l and present day – we also talk about the fact Sean Bean and Eva Green are up for the villains Circe the Sorceress and Ares in the flick.

King Kong v Godzilla

Another hot news story that came out this week was the fact King Kong had left Universal Studios – and was on his way to Warner Bros via Deadline, and they were working on a crossover event flick with Godzilla joining in for some fun.

Heroic Hollywood dropped another bombshell this week with the news that Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation star is up for Captain Marvel – we share our thoughts on this hot casting along with some rumor talk thrown in for good measure.
