I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!

No. 1: Blue and Grey

When I was first introduced to Batman, he wore a grey bodysuit, blue trunks, and a blue cape. Typically the face of the cowl got shaded in black, and blue was used to add the detail. Here, legendary Batman artist Neil Adams shows us the quintessential mid-70s Batman. He's a lean, mean, blue and grey machine. This colour scheme may have been a result of the production process for comics at the time it was created, but it lasted for quite a while. It was even highlighted in the 1960s Batman TV show starring Adam West.
