I'm a 35 year old Canadian living in Ontario. I read comics, I love to draw and I collect comic art. I also teach karate, play hockey, and am a dad to 3 girls! My comic book passion lies with Batman and his pals with Nightwing taking a very close #2 favourite position. I began collecting comic art in 2013 and I have several commissions done by Ken Lashley and an amazing Francis Manapul Batman. As well I have sold a few of my own creations!

No. 1: The Lies

If following fan reactions to Arrow and Flash has taught me anything, it's that the general comics audience hates it when their heroes keep their identity a secret from other people. Flash should just tell Iris, Arrow should have told his sister the first week, etc...

If you discount the movies, where Bruce tells anyone with a nice set of legs that he's Batman, he keeps that secret pretty locked within the inner circle of the Bat-Family. However, even with these close allies there are still lies. In the Death of the Family arc by Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo, he lies about how much the Joker knows to the faces of all of his partners.

Tough to take Bats!
