Before the lynch mob assembles, let me explain something to you. Batman is my favorite character in all of comics. I've grown up on Batman,  I've seen all of the old Adam West Batman episodes,  Michael Keaton's Batman was one of the first movies I saw in a theatre. Along with all that I've read a ton of Batman comics and sat before hours of Batman cartoons.

All of this research leads me to one inescapable conclusion.

He can be a real jerk!
